Gaze of the Beholder, an award-winning documentary by first time filmmaker, Wadooah Wali, spotlights conversations with men and women from all walks of life about the inherent human struggle with beauty and body image. Featuring commentary from radio and television personality, Carson Daly; Olympic athlete, Karina LeBlanc; actress-performer, Vanessa Villegas; as well as everyday women who’ve struggled with self-acceptance, the film unearths that many of us do actually feel that it’s not what’s on the outside, but what’s on the inisde that counts and that getting to the “beautiful yoU” starts with the “be U.”
