Brothers Series Interview
I’m so excited to be interviewing the writer and creator of Brothers Series “A group of transgender male friends navigate life, love and the red tape that comes along with transition in Brooklyn, NY”.
Emmett Lundberg is an award-winning screenwriter, and graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the arts. His work includes feature-length scripts, short films and a recently published anthology of collected non-fiction essays titled Finding Masculinity: Female to Male Transition in Adulthood.
Lundberg is a native Wisconsite who has been in New York for 13 years. While still in WI, he attended Milwaukee’s high school of the arts with a focus on theatre production. Being dead-set on New York for his post high school studies, Lundberg applied only to NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
During his four years at NYU, he majored in Film and Television production, with a minor in Philosophy. He spent his post-graduation years working in the industry, most often in the Art and set decorating departments of major motion pictures such as Birdman, Julie & Julia, The other Guys, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close.
We’ll also be discussing LGBT news and current events throughout this show, follow the links!
Thanks for listening!
